Acoustic Friday featuring Steven Gary

Steven Gary, a native of San Jose, California, has been performing for many years in settings from coffee houses to stadiums and everything in between. He attended UC Berkeley while beginning his music career and went on to spend 10 years in Hollywood, collecting 6 album credits as a vocalist as well as appearing with such notables as Rock icon Edgar Winter, Jazz great Chick Corea, and Frank Stallone (brother of Sylvester), as well as performances with the Hollywood Chorale. With a repertoire of over 1500 songs he can bring to you the songs everyone knows and loves, from the Charleston days of the 1920s, to the Big band hits of the 30s and 40s, and into Jive, Calypso, folk songs and Standards of the 50s and 60s to the classic rock of the 70s and 80s and into the current top 40 hits. Steven is always expanding his repertoire and often asks for requests from his audience. When they stump him, he often learns the tune for the next time he’s there!
